The Village of Waunakee, population 13,855 is located approximately 5 miles north of the City of Madison in Dane County. It is a fast-growing community with a long history of providing a unique combination of hometown warmth, quality housing, education excellence, bountiful recreation, business opportunities and progressive planning. In order to further enhance the exceptional quality of life in this community, the Village is considering the addition of a new community aquatic facility.

The Village is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide planning services related to the development of an aquatics facility within the community. The study will enable the Village to determine how to proceed with planning for a potential facility designed to meet the current needs, anticipated growth within the Village and the potential for accessing a more regional market. The study will consist of a market analysis, conceptual design, site selection, anticipated cost of construction, operations and programming pro forma, and referendum planning services.
