All meters shall be located in a place protected from obstruction and to permit ready access for meter reading and maintenance. All inspection, servicing, and location of meters must be designated or approved by the Utility. All water service piping to the building and within the building must be supplied and installed by the customer. Where additional meters are desired, the customer is responsible for all charges set forth in approved water service rates and charges.Late Payment Charge:
The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin requires the Utility to charge 1% interest each month on the unpaid balance of bills not paid within 20 days of issuance. This late charge will be added to the utility bill if payment is not received in the utility office on or before the due date (does not apply to the postmark on mailed envelope). The Utility makes great efforts to provide everyone with an accurate bill for services rendered. The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin has responded to complaints of utility bills not being delivered to customers in the following manner: once the bills are presented to the U.S. Post Office for delivery to customers, the responsibility of delivery has been relinquished to the Post Office. Late charges can and will be applied to these accounts.Ownership of Sewer Laterals:
All customers are responsible for the repairs and maintenance of the sewer laterals serving their home or business. This ownership starts inside the property and extends the entire distance to where the lateral connects to the sewer main, generally in the middle of the street.Questions:
