Retired Owner and Manager of the Ben Franklin store in Waunakee, Phil and his wife Betty operated the store from 1977 to 2002. Prior to that experience, Phil was in sales for the W. Wright Company for 2 years, which followed a 22 year career with the W.T. Grant Company as a Retail Store Manager.
As well as serving on the Village Board as a Trustee, Phil currently serves on the Senior Services Committee, Parks and Recreation Committee, as well as the the Planning Commission. He is also one of the founders of the Waunakee Area Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Schumacher Farm Trust, and the Rotary Board of Directors.
Phil and his wife, Betty, have lived in Waunakee since 1975 and have three grown children.
Phil Willems' term on the
Village Board of Trustees will expire in April of 2023.
