Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities at the Village Center will put you in the heart of the Waunakee Community.



Volunteers offer invaluable support to our programs, activities, and events. We encourage students who have community service requirements to look for meaningful ways to fulfill them by being a Village Center volunteer, and we welcome volunteers of all ages to contribute their time and skills to our village.


Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, to meet your neighbors, and broaden your horizons. In addition, volunteering strengthens community ties by providing everyone an opportunity to "give back" to the community.

To volunteer to help at the Waunakee Village Center, complete the 
volunteer application (PDF) and return it to the Connie Gavinski.

Here are some of the volunteer opportunities:

*Community-wide special events including Santa’s visit, the Big Rig Gig, Easter Bunny’s visit, Halloween at the Farm, the Great Pumpkin Float, Candlelight Hike, and the Chalk Walk

*Coaching youth sports

*Helping with youth enrichment programs

*American Red Cross Blood Drives

*Health and Wellness Fair

*Maintenance and groundskeeping

*Friends of the Park – Park Sign flower beds
