Planning Tool

The annual budget is a statement of planned village expenditures that match with expected village revenues for a 1-year period. The budget is important because it acts as a policy document, an operational tool, a performance tool, and a strategic (long-range) planning tool.

The Village of Waunakee values the benefits a good budget can have on the efficient use of resources for village operations. For this reason, Waunakee continues to strive for excellence in our budgeting and reporting practices.
