Responsibilities

The Finance Department is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of all village operations and is entrusted with collecting, depositing, and investing all village funds. This includes:

  • Accounts payable
  • Billing and collections
  • Investment and cash management
  • Maintenance of all financial records
  • Payroll for all village governmental fund employees
  • Property tax collections

The Finance Department is also responsible for the preparation of the annual budget, which includes the five-year Capital Improvement Plan, and the fixed asset record.
