July 25, All Day
Place brush on the terrace by 7:00 a.m. with the cut ends toward the road. Please leave branches as long as possible as this will save you and our crews' time. Brush is considered limbs and branches from trees and large shrubs. All other woody vegetation such as plant stalks, small bush trimmings, etc. will not be collected. This type of material can be taken to the compost site on Highway Q. south of the Village. If you have a contractor trim or prune your trees or bushes, they are responsible for the removal of the brush. Collection begins Monday and is completed within the week when Public Works has gone through the entire Village.

Anyone who has interest in learning about Village projects and enjoys bike riding are invited to participate in this event. This bike tour will include stops around the Village to highlight and explain some of the major public projects that are or will be occurring in 2016 and beyond. The level of biking experience needed will be minimal. There will be some hills, but the pace will be relatively slow. Those participating should plan to wear light colored clothing and bike helmets. The group will enjoy a Police Department Bike Patrol escort by one of our officers.Village Administrator Todd Schmidt will guide the biking tour, and may be joined by other staff members as well.
Todd will be leaving the Ripp Park Parking Lot at 6:00 p.m. for about a 1 ½ hour ride (although riders may leave the tour early if needed). A rain date is scheduled for August 8.
No registration required; just show up ready to ride. If you have questions please call Todd directly at 850-5227 or email tschmidt@
