  1. Brush Pick-up Week

    April 27, All Day

    Place brush on the terrace by 7:00 a.m. with the cut ends toward the road. Please leave branches as long as possible as this will save you and our crews' time. Brush is considered limbs and branches from trees and large shrubs. All other woody vegetation such as plant stalks, small bush trimmings, etc. will not be collected. This type of material can be taken to the compost site on Highway Q. south of the Village. If you have a contractor trim or prune your trees or bushes, they are responsible for the removal of the brush. Collection begins Monday and is completed within the week when Public Works has gone through the entire Village.

  5. Rodgers & Hammerstein: From Book to Broadway presented by Four Season Theatre

    Rodgers and Hammerstein: From Book to Broadway takes a look at the legacy of one of musical theatre’s foremost songwriting teams: Rodgers and Hammerstein. This program is produced by Four Seasons Theatre as an outreach component of its continuing Great American Songbook series, the 2015 installment of which focuses on R&H. Tamara Brognano, FST Outreach Coordinator, will lead a program that looks at the R&H legacy of the “book” musical, and the books that Rodgers and Hammerstein adapted for the Broadway stage. The presentation will feature a pianist and 3-4 singers who will bring these books to life. This event is funded through a Beyond the Page Grant
